Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 18 July 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Hendexa website at hendexa.com and any services provided by Hendexa ("we", "us", "our"). By using our site or services, you agree to these Terms.
2. About Hendexa
Hendexa is a UK-based educational organisation offering expert, ethical academic guidance, workshops, mentoring, and training for students, researchers, and institutions. Our team is Oxford-educated and works to widen participation in higher education.
3. Services
Details of our services are set out on our services page. Specific engagements are governed by a separate proposal, statement of work, or booking confirmation, which forms the contract between you and Hendexa for that engagement.
4. Ethical guidance
Hendexa is committed to ethical academic guidance. We help you develop your own work — we do not write, ghost-write, or fabricate content on your behalf. Any work submitted under your name must remain substantively your own. Misuse of our guidance to commit academic misconduct is a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of services.
5. Fees & payment
Fees are set out in the proposal or booking confirmation for each engagement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are payable within 14 days of issue. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details on cancellations and refunds.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Hendexa website — including text, graphics, logos, and downloadable resources — is the property of Hendexa or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You may access and view content for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our prior written permission.
7. User content
Where you submit content to Hendexa (for example, drafts of your work), you retain ownership of that content. You grant us a limited licence to use it for the purpose of delivering the service you have requested. We treat all client content confidentially.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hendexa will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
Academic outcomes — including admission, funding, or publication decisions — are determined by third parties (universities, funders, publishers). Hendexa does not and cannot guarantee any specific outcome.
9. Third-party links
Our website may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after any change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
